Soccer Recap: Hatch Valley Comes Up Short

If Hatch Valley was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Hot Springs on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears lost 4-0 to the Ruidoso Warriors on Saturday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Hatch Valley haven't been shut out since back in September.

Hatch Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Ruidoso, they now have a winning record of 7-6-2.

Ruidoso wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against New Mexico Military Institute on the 21st. Hopefully Hatch Valley paid attention to the Warriors' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
