Football Recap: Arkansas City Takes a Loss

Arkansas City lost against Andover Central back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Jaguars, falling 35-14. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jaxson Green had a dynamite game For Andover Central., rushing for 180 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. Green is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 106 every time he's taken the field this season. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Cooper Mason, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Arkansas City now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Andover Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arkansas City will host Andover on Friday. As for Andover Central, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Valley Center at 7:00 p.m.
