Baseball Recap: Denmark Continues Road Dominance on Monday

Denmark waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the North Atlanta Warriors.

Easton Holmes looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

On the hitting side, Thatcher Dumford was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Geno Goralski was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Denmark's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for North Atlanta, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-5.

Denmark will have a chance to go back-to-back against North Atlanta: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
