Last Tuesday, Jersey Shore strolled past Bald Eagle Area with points to spare, taking the game 44-27. Given Jersey Shore's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while Bald Eagle Area is ranked 499th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Peyton Dincher, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds and two steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Jersey Shore's points. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn McCracken, who scored nine points along with four steals and two blocks.
In what's become a running theme this season, Loyalsock Township gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They blew past Southern Columbia Area, posting a 56-12 victory at home.
Jersey Shore has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Loyalsock Township, their win bumped their record up to 18-2.
