Basketball Recap: Jadyn Little Key Part of a Team Effort in Trojans Win

Milpitas's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-27 victory over the Fremont Firebirds. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Firebirds back in January, they had to take a 42-23 loss.

Milpitas' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jadyn Little, who posted 14 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave Little a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Rachel Hoang, who put up six points and eight rebounds.

Milpitas smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Milpitas' victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Fremont, they dropped their record down to 8-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Los Altos the next time they take the court. Fremont will host Los Altos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Milpitas will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th.
