Softball Recap: Jacie King Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Maysville

McLoud's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Maysville Warriors get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory.

McLoud's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jacie King, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that King has brought in this season.

McLoud's victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1. As for Maysville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

McLoud wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Chickasha on the 21st. As for Maysville, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Earlsboro at 6:00 p.m. on September 22.
