It was fun while it lasted, but Monroe Area's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Oconee County Warriors. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Purple Hurricanes couldn't quite close it out.

Having lost for the first time this season, Monroe Area fell to 6-1. As for Oconee County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
