Softball Recap: Palmer Terrors vs. Woodland Park Panthers
Palmer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-3 to the Woodland Park Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Terrors of the 19-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.
Lydia Wilson made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Camila Vazquez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.
Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Woodland Park, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
Coincidentally, Palmer and Woodland Park will both be playing Coronado the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Terrors will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
