Baseball Recap: Habersham Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Madison County on Wednesday, Habersham Central came back down to earth. The Raiders fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Raiders earlier this season, when they won 12-0.

Habersham Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Madison County, they moved to 4-22 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Habersham Central will face off against Hebron Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Madison County, they will challenge Jackson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
