Softball Recap: Caldwell Hornets vs. Rudder Rangers
Caldwell won the last time they faced Rudder and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hornets blew past the Rangers 23-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.
Samone Clark and Brynn Morton were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound, Clark tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Morton tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, Clark went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, four RBI, and one stolen base, while Morton went 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most doubles Clark has posted since back in February of 2025.
