Tri-Metro - West recap October 29, 2013

Andrew Thao of St. Paul Academy-Summit/Mounds Park Academy ran for the longest rushing play in Tri-Metro - West this season against Holy Family Catholic last week. Thao ran for 85 yards on the play and finished with 92 on the day as his team lost to the Fire.

Blake lost to Benilde-St. Margaret's 56-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.

St. Paul Academy-Summit/Mounds Park Academy's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Michael O'Shea threw for 130 and 1 touchdown and Nick Hoffmann had 53 yards receiving. On the ground Thao contributed 92 yards. Dalante Peyton helped St. Paul Academy-Summit/Mounds Park Academy's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 49 yards.

O'Shea put up the best numbers through the air as Ed Perrault's team lost to Holy Family Catholic. O'Shea's favorite target this week was Hoffmann, who caught 5 passes for 53 yards.

St. Paul Academy-Summit/Mounds Park Academy's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Spartans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. O'Shea has thrown for 799 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Peyton has 45 catches for 499 yards.

DeLaSalle led the league in scoring this week by notching 48 points on Fridley.
