Basketball Game Preview: Ceres Bulldogs vs. Riverbank Bruins + How To Watch

The Ceres Bulldogs will face off against the Riverbank Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Ceres was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-49 to Sierra. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite their defeat, Ceres saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Sovannary Carter, who posted 24 points and seven rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. With that strong performance, Carter is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Another player making a difference was Lilly Staggs, who earned ten points and five steals.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Riverbank against Downey on Wednesday as the team secured a 76-41 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bruins.

Ceres' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Riverbank, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Ceres suffered a grim 64-40 defeat to Riverbank in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
