Baseball Recap: Crandon Comes Up Short

Crandon was the 8-6 winner over Tomahawk when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell 8-4 to the Hatchets on Friday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crandon's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Tomahawk, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crandon will head out to face off against Three Lakes/Phelps at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Three Lakes/Phelps has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Tomahawk, they will venture away from home to take on Antigo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
