Elkins hadn't done well against Bridgeport recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Tigers came out on top against the Indians by a score of 9-5. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Elkins' victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Bridgeport, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 16 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Elkins has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 loss against Keyser on the 12th. Hopefully Bridgeport paid attention to the Tigers' game: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
