Soccer Recap: Tulare Western Has No Trouble Against Wasco

After failing to score in their last contest, Tulare Western made sure to put some goals up on the board against Wasco on Friday. They blew past the Wasco Tigers 5-1. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Tigers are ranked 376th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tulare Western hit Wasco with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lauren Starr (2), Audrina Aceves, Trinity Bailey, and Isabella Medina-Cardenas.

Tulare Western's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Wasco, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1.

Tulare Western wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Yosemite on the 7th. Wasco has also already played their next matchup, a 7-1 defeat against Kerman on the 7th.
