Hurley had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Bayfield on Thursday. The Northstars never let the Trollers get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. The Northstars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Hurley now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Bayfield, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-11.
