Softball Recap: Lamar County Beats Putnam County for Their Seventh Straight Victory

Lamar County waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They never let the Putnam County War Eagles get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Lamar County's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Putnam County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Coincidentally, Lamar County and Putnam County will both be playing Social Circle the next time they take the field. The War Eagles will host the Redskins at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
