Soccer Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Johnson was not quite Islands's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell 4-2 to the Islands Sharks. The Atomsmashers have struggled against the Sharks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Mickael Wisaela and Walter Elias scored both of Johnson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Islands, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-3.

Coming up, Johnson will face off against St. Andrew's at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Islands, they will challenge Long County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
