Football Recap: Chase County Has No Trouble Against Kiowa County

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Little River, Chase County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Kiowa County Mavericks with a sharp 70-50 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

The victory got Chase County back to even at 1-1. As for Kiowa County, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chase County will challenge Axtell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kiowa County, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Sublette at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
