Baseball Recap: Palatine Pirates vs. Conant Cougars
After flying high against Rolling Meadows on Friday, Palatine came back down to earth. The Pirates lost 11-1 to the Conant Cougars on Monday. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.
Palatine saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Salata, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.
