Basketball Recap: Pottsville Takes a Loss

Pottsville lost against Conrad Weiser back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pottsville Crimson Tide fell 50-38 to the Conrad Weiser Scouts. The Crimson Tide have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Conrad Weiser's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lauren Grabosky led the charge by putting up 19 points. Those 19 points gave Grabosky a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alex Trevana, who posted ten points.

Pottsville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Conrad Weiser, their record now sits at 11-5.

Pottsville will welcome Schuylkill Haven at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Conrad Weiser, they are taking a road trip to square off against Twin Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Conrad Weiser is facing Twin Valley at the right time seeing as Twin Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
