The biggest upset of the week belonged to Blooming Prairie, who took down 44th ranked Bethlehem Academy, 12-7.
The Awesome Blossoms extended the longest winning streak in Gopher Valley A this week by beating the Cardinals, 12-7. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Bethlehem Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cardinals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kyle Filzen has thrown for 313 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Tim Angell has 10 catches for 227 yards. Filzen also leads the league in rushing with 336 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when St. Clair takes on Bethlehem Academy. As it stands, the Cyclones are in fourth, while Scott Hanson's team is in third.
The Awesome Blossoms moved up to 87 from 132 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Gopher Valley A. Blooming Prairie climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Cardinals 12-7.
