Baseball Recap: Whitko Wildcats vs. Columbia City Eagles
Whitko had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 10-8 to make it five. They fell just short of the Columbia City Eagles by a score of 8-7. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.
Lewis Skinner made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Andy Shepherd, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs.
