Durango had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Conifer Lobos 10-4 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Demons, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Dawson McInnes, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Dylan Burns was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Durango was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 12-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Durango has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Conifer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.
