Volleyball Recap: Kingwood Park Panthers vs. Dayton Broncos
There's no place like home for Kingwood Park, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Dayton Broncos by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.
Kingwood Park had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-14, 25-19, 25-19.
Elizabeth Milbrandt paced Kingwood Park's offense, picking up 17 kills. Milbrandt got some help from Kaely Evans and her 24 assists. Evans was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
