Midtown won the last time they faced M.L. King and things went their way on Wednesday too. Midtown came out on top against M.L. King by a score of 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.
Beckett Boatright and Charlie Frederick did most of the damage at the plate: Boatright scored a run and stole four bases while going 1-for-3, while Frederick scored a run while going 2-for-2. That's the most stolen bases Boatright has posted since back in February.
Midtown's record now sits at 12-5. As for M.L. King, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7.
