Soccer Game Preview: Westchester vs. Hamilton

Westchester hasn't had much luck against Hamilton recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Comets are taking a road trip to face off against the Yankees at 3:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Westchester and Palisades have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Comets came up short against the Dolphins, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Westchester can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 946th, while Palisades are ranked 159th).

Meanwhile, Hamilton and Fairfax finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Monday.

Westchester's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. Hamilton's draw gives them a new season record of 8-9-2.

Westchester might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Hamilton in their previous meeting back in December of 2025. Can the Comets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
