Baseball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Hillgrove Hawks.

Centennial saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Porambo, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Hillgrove, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will square off against Chattahoochee at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hillgrove, they will venture away from home to face off against Lanier at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
