Softball Recap: Freeman Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Freeman and St. Cecilia squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Freeman had to settle for second. They fell 3-0 to the Bluehawks. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Bluehawks: they've now lost eight in a row.

Freeman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryleigh Crouse, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Freeman's defeat dropped their record down to 23-13. As for St. Cecilia, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-6.

Freeman wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-7 loss against Centura on the 16th. As for St. Cecilia, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Yutan-Mead on the 15th.
