Soccer Game Preview: Johnson vs. Shaw

The Johnson Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Shaw Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Johnson is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Johnson managed to keep up with Alleluia Community until halftime last Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Panthers lost 5-2 to the Angels. That's two games in a row now that Johnson have lost by exactly three goals.

Diego Geraldo wasn't going to let Alleluia Community walk away unscathed as he scored both of Johnson's goals, bringing his season total up to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Shaw came up short against Newnan on Friday and fell 4-2. One thing that didn't help Shaw's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Fabian Burac.

This is the second loss in a row for Shaw and nudges their season record down to 10-6. As for Johnson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
