Mill Creek got themselves on the board against Collins Hill on Thursday, but Collins Hill never followed suit. They blew past the Eagles 8-0. Considering the Hawks have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Addison Ursetta was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Blair McClain was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Ellie Kava, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

Mill Creek has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Collins Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-15.

Mill Creek has already played their next contest, a 6-4 win against Duluth on the 7th. As for Collins Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-7 loss against Dacula on the 7th.
