Soccer Recap: Young Americans Christian Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Young Americans Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of the Hills Academy Knights by a score of 2-1. Young Americans Christian were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Hills Academy earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

Young Americans Christian's goal came courtesy of Aidan Palmer, who's now up to three this season.

Young Americans Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Hills Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Young Americans Christian has already played their next matchup, a 4-2 defeat against Scholars Guild Academy on the 14th. As for Hills Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Milledgeville Athletic Club on the 18th.
