Soccer Recap: Norte Vista's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Norte Vista won the last time they faced Rubidoux and things went their way on Thursday too. The Norte Vista Braves walked away with a 4-2 win over the Rubidoux Falcons. Considering the Braves' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit Rubidoux with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bailey Martinez (2), Cristina Carvajal, and Marilyn Gonzalez.

Norte Vista's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9-2. As for Rubidoux, they dropped their record down to 1-18-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norte Vista will square off against La Sierra at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Norte Vista is facing La Sierra at the right time seeing as La Sierra is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Rubidoux, they will face off against Ramona at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
