Baseball Recap: Brooks County Takes a Loss

Brooks County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss. They lost 19-0 to the Lanier County Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 7-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Brooks County's loss dropped their record down to 4-24. As for Lanier County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

While Brooks County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
