Recap: West Adams vs. Panorama
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the West Adams Panthers had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They never let the Pythons onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Fernanda Campos had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble West Adams got from the refs.
Brisny Argueta was the driving force of West Adams' attack as she scored both of West Adams' goals. With that big game, she's now up to 20 goals this season.
West Adams' win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Panorama, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
West Adams will be playing in front of their home fans against Triumph Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Triumph Charter will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something West Adams surely won't give up without a fight. Panorama does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
