Legend extended their winning streak to eight on Wednesday, bumping them up to 12-4. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over the Douglas County Huskies. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won seven matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Lucy Thompson was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Tru Dorsey, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Legend kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in five consecutive contests.

As for Douglas County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7. The game marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

On Douglas County's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Martine, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Legend will venture away from home to face off against Heritage at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Douglas County, they will square off against Cherry Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
