Football Recap: McIntosh Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If McIntosh was riding high fresh off their 36-15 takedown of Morrow last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chiefs came up short against the Lovejoy Wildcats on Friday, falling 21-0. The Chiefs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Despite the loss, McIntosh still got an impressive performance from Brandan Ridley, who rushed for 156 yards.

McIntosh now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lovejoy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, McIntosh will challenge Northgate at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Chiefs will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for Lovejoy, they will square off against Morrow at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
