It was a good run, but Savannah Country Day unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Savannah Christian Raiders by a score of 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Savannah Country Day came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 14th, while Savannah Christian are ranked 284th).

Savannah Country Day's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-2. As for Savannah Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Islands will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Savannah Country Day surely won't give up without a fight.
