Basketball Recap: Parkway West Wins Going Away Against Maritime Academy Charter

On Monday, everything went the Parkway West HOYAS's way against the Maritime Academy Charter Seadogs as the Parkway West HOYAS made off with a 45-21 victory.

Kemba Brown went supernova for Parkway West, putting up 24 points. Brown's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Zaahirah Shabazz was another key player, posting ten points.

Parkway West's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Maritime Academy Charter, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Parkway West will square off against Thomas A. Edison at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Parkway West is facing Thomas A. Edison at the right time seeing as Thomas A. Edison is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Maritime Academy Charter, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on High School of the Future at 3:15 p.m. on January 23rd.
