Preview: Healdsburg Greyhounds vs. Windsor Jaguars
Healdsburg has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Windsor Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Healdsburg is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Windsor in California (Healdsburg is ranked 152nd, while Windsor is ranked 469th).
Healdsburg stacked a 15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 67-30 win over Rancho Cotate at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Healdsburg has posted since December 1, 2023.
Meanwhile, Windsor entered their tilt with Piner with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Windsor strolled past Piner with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 47-30.
Healdsburg has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season. As for Windsor, they pushed their record up to 9-12 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Healdsburg didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Windsor in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 47-43 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Healdsburg since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
