North Callaway barely beat Palmyra the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Thunderbirds' pitchers stepped up to hand the Panthers a 10-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering the Thunderbirds have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Kymorie Myers, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last six contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Madyson Gordon, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
North Callaway was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .476. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
