Baseball Recap: Brooks County Comes Up Short

Brooks County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Echols County Wildcats, falling 14-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 last Tuesday.

Brooks County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Echols County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-15.

While Brooks County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
