The Lovett Lions will head out on the road to take on the Woodward Academy War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Lovett took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Drew Charter 11-1.

Meanwhile, Woodward Academy made easy work of Lakeside on Thursday and carried off a 16-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the War Eagles.

Lucas Clark spent all three innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits.
