Soccer Recap: Thursday's Win Is Lincoln's 13th in Last 14 Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lincoln had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Ripon Indians by a score of 3-1. The Fighting Zebras better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Alicia Osegueda, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 90 goals over those 14 matches. Ripon's loss dropped their record down to 18-5.

Coming up, Lincoln will face off against Twelve Bridges at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Twelve Bridges comes in on four and Lincoln on eight. Ripon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
