Baseball Recap: Bacon County Comes Up Short

Bacon County fell victim to Vidalia and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vidalia Indians. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Bacon County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Vidalia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-1-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bacon County beat Vidalia by a score of 11-10 later that day.
