There's no place like home for California Military Institute, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves out 1-0 on Wednesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Rough Riders were the better team in the second half.

California Military Institute's victory bumped their record up to 4-8-1. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Santa Rosa Academy the next time they take the pitch. San Jacinto Valley Academy will host Santa Rosa Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while California Military Institute will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
