Baseball Recap: Bethlehem Christian Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bethlehem Christian can now relate to. They lost 18-7 to the Moravian Academy Lions on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-2 two weeks ago.

Gabe Transue was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one triple. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last six games he's played.

Bethlehem Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Moravian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-18.

As of now, neither Bethlehem Christian nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
