Clifton-Clyde is a perfect 4-0 against Washington County since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Washington County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Clifton-Clyde, who comes in off a win.

While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Leopards are ranked fifth).

The victory made it two in a row for Clifton-Clyde and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points in those games. As for Washington County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Clifton-Clyde against Washington County in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 48-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
