Softball Recap: Gordon Central Takes a Loss

Gordon Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 19-2 to the Christian Heritage Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in August.

Gordon Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bre Blasengame, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Gordon Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Christian Heritage, their win ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-15.

Gordon Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 24-2 defeat against Armuchee on the 30th. As for Christian Heritage, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 loss against Dade County on the 30th.
