Basketball Game Preview: Conrad Weiser Scouts vs. Lower Dauphin Falcons

The Conrad Weiser Scouts will face off against the Lower Dauphin Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Conrad Weiser's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Lower Dauphin has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

Last Monday, Conrad Weiser ended up a good deal behind Northern York and lost 60-46. While losing is never fun, the Scouts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Polar Bears are ranked 88th).

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Geniva Paul, who posted 16 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Alex Trevana, who put up ten points.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 11-11 at halftime, Lower Dauphin was not quite Susquehannock's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 25-22. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Lower Dauphin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Conrad Weiser, their loss dropped their record down to 17-9.
